LEMS was founded with a bold vision — to become Botswana’s first integrated biomedical engineering company. It began as a small team with a shared passion for delivering quality healthcare technology.

Through innovation and service excellence, LEMS gained national recognition in the healthcare industry. Our expanding team continued to uphold quality, trust, and integrity in every partnership.

LEMS has been selected for the 2025 Stanford Seed Transformation Program — representing Botswana in Southern Africa’s 8th cohort. This milestone reinforces our mission to transform healthcare through innovation, local expertise, and sustainable growth.

The driving principles behind our commitment to excellence
To accelerate the delivery of quality Biomedical & Life Science solutions to save lives in Africa.
To be the leader in transforming the quality of life for ALL.
Respect, community, and humanity at our core
Driving progress through creative solutions
Placing our clients at the center of everything we do
Embracing differences to foster innovation
Persevering through challenges with determination
While most of the organizations concentrate their business on selling equipment, LEMS choses to look at providing a comprehensive solution to our clients. We start with our client at planning stages, move to procurement, installation, commissioning and this is concluded with exceptional "after sale support" throughout the life of the machines. This approach has thus far left us with little or no competition in Botswana.
